Our Story

Walk into almost any cafe, buy a hot coffee in a paper cup, and you’ll likely see a little green leaf logo or the word “biodegradable” stamped on the side. It’s a lie..


The only reason that cheap paper cup can hold a hot drink for hours without instantly turning into mush is because it is secretly lined with a thin, stubborn layer of plastic. That single layer means it can’t be easily recycled, it won’t decompose, and it will sit in a landfill for decades. Today’s “recycling myth” is facetious, and the sustainable packaging industry is largely built on these hidden compromises.


As a food brand or a cafe owner, you’re left with terrible options: buy into the greenwashed disguise, completely avoid convenience, or just sit back and blame the system.


We got tired of looking at animals facing death because of plastic. We got tired of reading new articles daily on how microplastics have now entered the human bodies.


So we started TAGE to build the alternative
